Wallet Accounts and User Responsibility

If you create or import a wallet in the Scion Wallet extension, you are solely responsible for maintaining the security of that wallet. You bear full responsibility for all activities that occur using your wallet and any actions taken in connection with it.

Scion Wallet is a non-custodial application. We do not have access to any wallet-related information — including private keys, seed phrases, account addresses, or transaction history — and we are unable to retrieve, restore, or transmit this information to any party. All such data is stored exclusively and locally on your device, encrypted, and under your full control.

You must understand and accept the following:

  • Your private keys and seed phrase are your sole responsibility. Anyone who obtains your seed phrase or private key gains full access to your wallet and funds. Never share them with anyone, including Scion support staff.
  • We cannot recover your wallet. If you lose your seed phrase or app password, we have no means to recover your wallet or funds. There is no password reset for your local wallet.
  • Uninstalling the extension deletes your local data. If you uninstall the Scion Wallet extension, all locally stored wallet data — including encrypted private keys and vault data — will be permanently deleted from your device. Private keys and seed phrases are not backed up to our servers and cannot be restored from any backup we hold. Always back up your seed phrase before uninstalling or reinstalling the extension.
  • Device loss or damage is your risk. If your device is lost, stolen, or damaged and you have not backed up your seed phrase, your wallet cannot be recovered by us or anyone else.

Prohibited Activities

By using the Scion Wallet extension and scion.digital, you agree that you will not use our services for any of the following:

  • Illegal activities: Using the wallet to conduct, facilitate, or conceal any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations, including but not limited to fraud, theft, or financial crimes.
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing: Using the wallet to launder money, finance terrorism, or engage in any activity prohibited under anti-money laundering (AML) or counter-terrorism financing (CTF) laws.
  • Sanctions evasion: Transacting with individuals, entities, or jurisdictions that are subject to applicable sanctions programmes.
  • Unauthorised access: Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the extension, scion.digital, our backend systems, or any third-party systems connected to our services.
  • Interference with the service: Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code; attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension or smart contracts; or interfering with the normal operation of the service for other users.
  • Misrepresentation: Providing false or misleading information during registration or enterprise document verification, or impersonating any person or entity.
  • Circumventing access controls: Attempting to bypass subscription verification, OTP requirements, admin approval processes, or any other access control mechanism built into the service.
  • Exploiting smart contracts: Attempting to exploit, manipulate, or abuse the deployed smart contracts in any way not intended by their design.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for any user found to be in violation of these prohibitions, and to report such activity to relevant authorities where legally required.

Transaction Terms

  • All blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
  • You are solely responsible for verifying transaction details before confirmation
  • Network fees are determined by the respective blockchain networks
  • We do not guarantee transaction processing times
  • The transaction reversal option must not be misused, abused, or used for fraudulent purposes

Supported Blockchain Networks

Scion Wallet supports the following networks:

NetworkTypeCurrencyStatus
Ethereum MainnetEVMETHMainnet
Sepolia TestnetEVMETHTestnet
Polygon MainnetEVMPOLMainnet
Amoy TestnetEVMPOLTestnet
Binance Smart ChainEVMBNBMainnet
Avalanche C-ChainEVMAVAXMainnet
Tron MainnetTVMTRXMainnet
Tron Shasta TestnetTVMTRXTestnet

Users can also add custom EVM and TVM networks by providing an RPC URL. Custom network details are stored locally and encrypted alongside the predefined network configuration.

Deployed Smart Contracts

The TransactionReversalContract smart contract governs Normal (Reversible) Transactions. The same contract logic is deployed on both EVM-compatible chains and Tron. All contracts are publicly verified and their source code can be inspected on the respective block explorers.

EVM Networks (Ethereum, BNB, Avalanche)

The same contract address is deployed across Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche C-Chain, and their respective testnets (Sepolia for Ethereum, Amoy for Polygon):

Contract Address

0x04Fb93C7830251169E60Efc0C2057D9925eB2f7F

NetworkExplorer Link
Ethereum Mainnetetherscan.io
Avalanche C-Chainsnowtrace.io
BNB Smart Chainbscscan.com

Polygon Mainnet

Polygon uses a separate deployment:

Contract Address

0x64d027a2498b1fe74398e41ca23e67295d39e723

NetworkExplorer Link
Polygon Mainnetpolygonscan.com

Tron Mainnet

The equivalent contract is deployed on Tron using TVM-compatible Solidity:

Contract Address

TRAnt9Zzcv4TeQ7mVSKxQ4hGnMnEKPtY7Q

NetworkExplorer Link
Tron Mainnettronscan.org

All contracts implement identical logic: escrow with a configurable hold period, ECDSA signature-based subscription verification with replay protection, and three settlement paths — automatic release by the backend, cancellation by the sender, or speed-up by the sender.

Smart Contract Transparency and Security

  • All contracts are open source and publicly verified on their respective block explorers. Anyone can inspect the contract code.
  • The contract uses ECDSA signatures (SCION_AUTH_V1 auth tag) issued by our trusted signer as one-time authorization tokens. Each signature is bound to the sender, receiver, amount, chain ID, contract address, and a timestamp window. Used signatures are recorded on-chain to prevent replay attacks.
  • Funds held in the contract are locked for the configured hold period (default: 24 hours). The contract owner can adjust this between 1 minute and 30 days.
  • In an emergency, the contract can be paused by the owner. While paused, the emergencyWithdraw function allows the owner to return all pending funds to their original senders.
  • The contract is built with ReentrancyGuard, Ownable2Step, and Pausable from OpenZeppelin, providing standard security protections.
  • The contract does not grant us access to user funds except through the specific, time-locked mechanisms described above.

Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for losses due to user error or negligence
  • We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to services
  • We are not responsible for third-party services or blockchain network issues

Intellectual Property

  • All content, trademarks, and software are owned by Scion Wallet
  • Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service
  • Reproduction or distribution of our content without permission is prohibited
  • User feedback may be used to improve our services
