Usage Guide

Step-by-step instructions for setting up Scion Wallet, sending transactions, and managing your account.

Getting Started

Four steps to a fully operational wallet

Step 1

Install the Extension

Visit Chrome Web Store and search "Scion Wallet"

Click "Add to Chrome" and confirm

Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access

Step 2

Register Your Account

Sign up with your name, email, and password — or use Google

Verify your email with the one-time code sent to your inbox

Upload verification documents to unlock subscription plans

Step 3

Log In to the Extension

Sign in with your scion.digital credentials

Enter the OTP sent to your email to complete login

Set your extension password — this encrypts your local vault

Step 4

Create or Import a Wallet

Get a 12-word seed phrase — write it on paper and store it offline

Confirm your seed phrase by filling in the missing words

Or import using an existing 12/24-word seed phrase or private key

Two Ways to Send

Choose the mode that fits your situation

Normal Transfer

Reversible — 24-hour window

Funds go through the smart contract and are held for 24 hours. Use this for large amounts or new counterparties.

Funds locked in smart contract for 24 hours
Cancel anytime — funds return to your wallet
Speed up with OTP for instant release

How to Send

  1. Unlock wallet, select network, click Send
  2. Choose Normal Transfer, enter address and amount
  3. Review and confirm — transaction is signed locally

Secure Transfer

Instant — OTP-verified

Direct on-chain transfer with email OTP verification. Funds arrive instantly. Best for everyday transactions.

Broadcast directly to the blockchain — instant settlement
OTP verification before the transaction is signed
Configurable OTP session — skip re-verification for 60 min

How to Send

  1. Unlock wallet, select network, click Send
  2. Choose Secure Transfer, enter address and amount
  3. Enter OTP from email — transaction is signed and broadcast

Gas fees are set by the blockchain and are non-refundable regardless of transaction outcome.
