Scion Wallet is a non-custodial, multi-chain cryptocurrency wallet available as a Chrome browser extension. It supports two transaction modes — Normal (reversible, smart contract-backed) and Secure (instant, OTP-verified) — across five blockchain networks: Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, and Tron.
1. Visit scion.digital and register an account with your name and email.
2. Install the Scion Wallet Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store.
3. If you are an enterprise user, complete document verification and purchase a subscription plan.
4. If you are a normal user, accept the email invitation from your enterprise admin received on your email.
5. Configure your website credentials.
6. Add extension to Chrome, set extension password, create or import a wallet, and start transacting.
Yes. The website manages authentication and subscription access. The extension checks your subscription status to determine whether wallet features are enabled. Without an active subscription (either through your own enterprise account or through an enterprise you've been invited to), wallet transaction features are not accessible.
Currently, Scion Wallet is available as a Chrome browser extension only. Mobile support is on the roadmap.
Scion Wallet is available worldwide except for Russia, Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Nigeria, Australia, and the United States. Users are responsible for compliance with their local laws and regulations.
Normal Transfers (Reversible)

A Normal Transfer sends your funds to the TransactionReversalContract smart contract instead of directly to the recipient. The contract holds the funds for a 24-hour period. During this window you can cancel (get your funds back) or speed up (release funds immediately). After 24 hours, the backend automatically releases the funds to the recipient.
Open the extension, go to your transaction activities, find the pending Normal Transfer, and select Cancel. The smart contract verifies you are the original sender and returns the funds to your wallet. You can cancel at any point before the 24-hour hold period expires.
Select Speed Up on the pending transaction in the extension transaction activities. You will be asked to verify an OTP sent to your registered email. After successful verification, the backend immediately releases the funds to the recipient without waiting for the 24-hour period.
No. The blockchain gas fee paid when you initiate the transaction is consumed by the blockchain and is non-refundable regardless of whether you cancel, speed up, or let the transaction complete normally.
After the 24-hour hold period expires, the Scion backend automatically executes a release transaction on the smart contract, sending the funds to the recipient's wallet address.
No. The funds are held by the smart contract. The recipient cannot access them until the hold period expires and the release is executed, or until you choose to speed up the transaction.
The current hold period is 24 hours. The current active hold period is displayed in the extension before you confirm a Normal Transfer.
The smart contract is publicly deployed and verified on every supported blockchain. The source code is readable by anyone on the respective block explorer.
Secure Transfers

A Secure Transfer is a standard on-chain transaction with an added OTP verification step. Before the extension signs and broadcasts the transaction, you must verify a one-time password sent to your registered email. Once verified, the funds are sent directly to the recipient on-chain with no hold period.
No. Secure Transfers bypass the smart contract entirely. They are direct on-chain transfers with OTP verification as an additional authentication layer.
No. Secure Transfers execute immediately on-chain. Once confirmed by the blockchain, they cannot be reversed. If you need the ability to cancel a transfer, use Normal Transfer mode instead.
Not necessarily. After you verify an OTP, subsequent Secure Transfers within a configurable session window (default: 60 minutes) are automatically approved without requiring a new OTP. You can adjust this duration in the extension's Advanced Settings. After the window expires, the next Secure Transfer requires a new OTP.
In the Scion Wallet extension, go to Settings, Advanced Settings. You will find the option to set the OTP approval session duration in minutes.
Security and Privacy

No. Your private keys are generated inside the extension and stored locally on your device, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. They are never transmitted to any server. We have no copy and no ability to access them.
AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 key derivation (SHA-256, unique random 16-byte salt per vault). A fresh 12-byte IV is generated for every individual encryption operation. All cryptographic operations run inside the extension's isolated service worker using the Web Crypto API.
We store only your name and email address (for authentication and access control) and your subscription payment wallet address (for billing verification). We do not store private keys, seed phrases, wallet addresses, transaction history, or wallet balances. Normal Transfer scheduling metadata sent to the backend is anonymous and not linked to your identity.
No. Scion support staff have no access to private keys, seed phrases, wallet addresses, transaction history, or any blockchain credentials. Support staff can only assist with account, subscription, and platform-related issues.
All locally stored wallet data — including encrypted private keys and vault data — is permanently deleted from your device. We do not back up this data on our servers. Always back up your seed phrase before uninstalling.
No. Enterprise admins can see user names, email addresses, and account status. They have no access to wallet addresses, private keys, transaction history, or any blockchain data.
Enterprise and Subscriptions

An Enterprise User is an organization account that purchases a subscription plan to provide wallet access to their team members. Enterprise users must complete document verification and receive admin approval before they can purchase a subscription.
After registering on scion.digital, the enterprise user submits verification documents through the dashboard. An admin reviews the documents and approves or rejects the submission. Only after approval can the enterprise user purchase a subscription and invite users.
After purchasing a subscription, the enterprise user can invite team members by entering their email addresses individually on the dashboard, or by uploading a CSV/Excel file for bulk invitations. Invited users receive an email with a registration link.
Wallet transaction features are automatically disabled for both the enterprise user and all users under that enterprise when the subscription expires. User accounts remain active for authentication purposes, but blockchain functionality in the extension is disabled until an active subscription is restored.
Subscription payments are made in stablecoins (USDC, USDT, DAI, BUSD) by connecting a cryptocurrency wallet on scion.digital. This payment wallet is completely separate from any wallet managed inside the Scion Wallet extension. The two are not linked in any way.
No. Enterprise admins can view user names, email addresses, invitation status, and account status. No link is provided between a user's identity and their wallet addresses, private keys, or transaction history.
A Normal User is an individual invited by an enterprise user. They gain full wallet access (unlimited wallets, unlimited transactions, both Normal and Secure modes) as long as the enterprise subscription is active.
Account Management

Visit scion.digital and click Register. You can register with your name and email address (manual registration) or use Google Sign-In. All registrations require OTP email verification. If you register directly on the website you will be registered as an "Enterprise".
Go to scion.digital/forgot-password and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link via email.
The wallet app password cannot be reset by Scion — it is the key to your locally encrypted vault and we have no copy. If you have your seed phrase, you can recover your wallet by importing it into the extension. If you do not have your seed phrase, the wallet cannot be recovered.
Log in to scion.digital, go to your profile, and select Change Password.
Yes. Both manual email/password registration and Google Sign-In are supported. All logins require OTP verification regardless of the sign-in method.
Yes. You can add custom EVM and TVM networks by providing an RPC URL in the extension settings. Custom network configurations are stored locally and encrypted.
Yes. The extension supports ERC-20 tokens on EVM networks and TRC-20 tokens on Tron. You can import custom tokens by providing the contract address.
